" أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ، فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا ". وَقَالَ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. -Sahih Bukhari
Al-Madeenah Islamic Society has positively transformed lives of hundreds of orphans in some of the most deprived areas of Bangladesh. By dedicating our time, resources, and love to support these vulnerable children, we have the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Our Orphan Sponsorship encompasses various aspects, including providing them with essential necessities such as food, shelter, and education. Moreover, it involves offering emotional support, guidance, and a nurturing environment to help them heal from past traumas and thrive in their present circumstances.

According to a UNICEF report, Bangladesh is home to over 160 million people. More than 64 million children make up around 40 per cent of the population.
From the 1.7 million children engaged in child labour, one in every four is aged between 6 to 11 years. These are mostly boys but girls are hidden in domestic work.
